Agriturismo Rivella
After long years of honorable service at the Gaja winery, Guido Rivella, an excellent winemaker, returned to his home to educate and help his children Silvia and Enrico in the art of winemaking. The production is small, but the family land is important and consecrated: it is the MGA Montestefano, one of the most suitable and historical "positions" of Barbaresco. Guido Rivella's wines best express the characteristics of the appellation, fine and elegant wines, with attention to the olfactory details and tannic matter, where balance and expression come together in unison. Barbaresco of excellence therefore, but not only, because Langhe Nebbiolo (a self-declassed Barbaresco) and Barbera shine in every vintage for style and refinement. Only 12,000 bottles produced, a trifle for the area, but increasing thanks to new small acquisitions, as part of the Fausoni di Neive vineyard, available from the 2015 harvest. A cellar with their precious production, to which the farmhouse has been added, equipped with welcoming and functional rooms, an infinity pool overlooking the vineyards and a breathtaking view for wine tourists looking for joy and relaxation.
