Almondo Giovanni

The Almondo family has been registered in the municipal registers of Montà since the 14th century. The Almondos have always lived in Vittori di Montà, the heart of today's Arneis vineyards, the epicenter of peasant life at the time. Next to the white grape vine, whose cultivation has been certified over the centuries by calculations and legislative codes, the area has always been considered exceptional for asparagus, strawberries and peaches. Similarly to these crops, the Arneis di Montà excels in perfumes and flavor. After graduating in Agricultural Sciences in 1980, Domenico Almondo gave the impulse towards quality viticulture to the small family farm. His ambition to create an elegant and personality Arneis; in short, a contemporary white wine. From the first experiments to the certainties of the most modern technique: temperature control, use of inert gas in all cellar operations, skilful management of reduction and fine lees. This is where the Almondo Style passes, a style made of great fragrance and minerality
