Salento IGP Rosato Negroamaro Diciotto Fanali 2017 - Apollonio

Color: Brilliant salmon pink crossed by light golden shades.
Smell: On the nose, the fruity aromas recall freshly ripe cherries and counterbalance fresh herbaceous hints.
Taste: On the palate it is dry, fresh and soft, initially a nice roundness is perceived on the tongue, followed by a sensation of structure and almost tannic consistency. Elegant fruity finish with a spicy accent.
Food pairing: Perfect for white meats, cold cuts, fish dishes (baked, grilled and stewed) and fresh cheeses.

Salento is famous for being a territory that lends itself well to the production of rosé wines. The "Diciotto Fanali" is a very structured wine, despite being a rosé wine. In fact, unlike other wines which are simpler, this label turns out to be gritty and full of personality.
