Color: Intense ruby ​​red

Smell: The nose is elegant and rich, with ample, warm and enveloping aromas of dried figs, cherry jam, plums, berries and orange.

Taste: In the mouth there is a right sweetness that is not absolutely cloying and there is an almost unexpected freshness, fine tannins and good body. The prolonged drying
of the grapes on the plant, until September 15, allows the wine to maintain an extraordinary sweetness.

Food pairings: chocolate, aged and blue cheeses.

Attanasio

The Azienda Agricola Attanasio Giuseppe continues with passion the traditions of a typical family of Salento winemakers. The large star vaults of a late nineteenth century building house the barrel cellar and the wine-making plants. Since 2000, Primitivo grapes have been harvested there, harvested with the traditional method and exclusively from their own vineyards, about 6 hectares of Apulian sapling in the Manduria countryside, personally cared for by Giuseppe Attanasio with over seventy years of experience.
