Baron de Ladoucette

The de Ladoucette family has been one of the best known wine producers in the world for generations. It boasts a range of wines of absolute excellence and world-renowned, universally recognized at the top of French wine production. In 1787 the Comte Lafond family purchased the Poully-Fumé vineyards at Chateau du Nozet in the Loire valley. And today the owner of this historic wine business is Baron Patrick de Ladoucette, a direct descendant. Over time the company has expanded the areas under vines with the acquisition of vineyards in the areas of Sancerre, Pouilly-Fuissé, Chablis, Champagne, Vouvray and Chinon. Today the maison combines technological innovation, tradition and the highest quality, honoring the history of its family in every label produced. The maison's main goal has always been to enhance the terroir and the vines that in the regions they belong to best express their characteristics. It is no coincidence that the award-winning and noble Baron de L is considered by critics to be one of the highest expressions of Sauvignon Blanc in the world.
