Bouquin Dupont Fils

For Bouquin Dupont Fils it all started in 1929 thanks to the acquisition, by Paul Emile Gaston Dupont, of a vineyard located on the terroir of Avize "Grand Cru on the white side". The vinification began in 1934, immediately followed by the sparkling process, and since then the Champagne Bouquin Dupont Fils have enjoyed great fame in the region, in France and in the world. After him, in 1968, his daughter Lillianne Dupont continued, who together with her husband Michel Bouquin, produce wines under the Bouquin-Dupont Fils label. The Bouquin Dupont Fils farm comprises a vineyard of 3.10 hectares of vineyards located on 4 villages of the Côte des Blancs: Avize, Cramant, Oger and Mesnil-sur-Oger. Champagne is still made on the basis of a family tradition without artificial interventions, nor harmful substances. Bouquin Dupont works only and exclusively on the Chardonnay grape, considered a noble grape. The annual production is around 15000 bottles.
