Château du Chatelard

Château du Chatelard is considered a part of French history; the vineyards have been cultivated here since the time of Charlemagne in the seventh century AD. During the French Revolution, Château du Chatelard was destroyed and then rebuilt in the 18th century. Today it is owned by a young family. Sylvain Rosier, enjoyed a youth immersed in the tradition of wine production. Today there are 30 ha in production. The vineyards are mostly older than 1955 on the most beautiful lands of Beaujolais. The company respects biological life, harvesting respecting the position of the moon, making no use of herbicides, working on the ground and letting the grass grow, leaving the leaves for photosynthesis, manual harvesting.
