Vines Chardonnay ( %)

Color: intense straw yellow with golden reflections

Smell: elegant with intense hints of white peach, citrus and broom, admirably blended with toasted notes and peanut butter

Taste: on the palate it is soft, enveloping, with excellent freshness and flavor with a long finish and light spicy notes

Pairings: perfect with lobster, vegetable soup, smoked fish and roasted quail. Also suitable for white meats

It is a wine that was born out of challenge and passion, with the belief that the Langhe always give voice to great interpretations, even in white: pure Chardonnay, a few thousand bottles, a white capable of living up to the great red wines of Langa.

For the Damilano family, for generations focused on Nebbiolo, testing oneself on a white grape variety that has already had superb Piedmontese interpretations was an important, strongly desired comparison.

The name chosen for the new white wine, G.D., is a dedication to Giacomo Damilano, founder of the winery, who had already sensed the vocation and potential of the family vineyards in the 1920s.

Damilano

Since 1997, the winery has been managed by Mario, Guido and Paolo Damilano, grandchildren of the founder. Wine production favors red wines, but it is in Barolo that the excellence of the wines produced finds its most representative standard bearer. Langhe Nebbiolo, Barbera d'Alba, Barbera d'Asti, Dolcetto d'Alba, Langhe Arneis, Rosé, Moscato d'Asti, Brut Metodo Classico, Brut Metodo Classico Millesimato, Barolo Chinato and Grappa di Nebbiolo from Barolo are also produced.
