Wine based on Barolo DOCG flavored with aromatic herbs and garnet red china with orange reflections, the palate is fresh, sweet and structured with a bitter finish, and is particularly appreciated as a meditation elixir.

The history of this drink has its roots in the Greek and Roman world, where flavored wines were already in use for mainly medicinal purposes and later spread in medieval Europe by monks and apothecaries.

At the end of the nineteenth century, vermouth and tonic and bent wines became established and the Piedmont Region was soon the protagonist with the spread of Vermouth and Barolo Chinato.

The latter was born in the shops of some special Langhe, the first to flavor the fine Barolo wine with alcoholic extracts obtained by maceration of china calissaja bark, cinnamon and licorice, rhubarb and gentian roots and many other ingredients.
