Vines Pinot Nero ( %)

Color: Intense and dark ruby red.
Smell: The nose is rich and intense with fruity notes of plum and small black fruits, spicy hints.
Taste: On the palate it is full-bodied, fresh and mineral, with tannins present, round and with excellent persistence.
Food pairing: Perfect for red meat and game dishes, first courses with rich sauces, cold cuts and aged cheeses.

Harvest: Manual.
Vinification: Fermentation in stainless steel tanks at controlled temperature (30 °C maximum).
Aging: For 18 months in oak barrels.

Domaine Alain Michelot

The Michelot family, the fourth generation among the rows, has been active in the world of wine since 1880. The Domaine has 7.5 hectares in Nuits-St-Georges, divided among the most beautiful vineyards of the appellation, and 0.5 hectares in Morey-St-Denis. The small cellar is in rue Camille Rodier, in the center of Nuits-SaintGeorges, and is the background to a traditional type of winemaking, aimed at enhancing the characteristics of the different climats thanks to a conscious hand and a very moderate use of new wood. (less than 25% on Premier Crus). Still present in the company is Alain Michelot, who since 1996 has found support, as regards the operational aspects, in his daughter Elodie and in her husband, currently the official régisseurs of the Domaine. In the glass, the wines impress with their elegant concentration, strength and balanced rusticity, the true distinctive element of the village.
