Domaine Ballorin et Fils

In the Côte de Nuits, where the city of Dijon is located, you can breathe the typical Burgundy "Savoir-vivre" at every corner and it is here that the young and lively Domaine Ballorin has stood since 2005. In the small village of Morey-Saint-Denis, Gilles, already experienced in the wine sector, has decided to embark on their first entrepreneurial adventure. The side dish is the magical land of Burgundy, known worldwide for its fine wines, characterized by limestone soils, rich in skeleton and highly permeable. Starting with 0.20 hectares of Chenôve vineyards, and then renting another 0.40 hectares adjacent to it, today they have come to own 5 expanses near Marsannay, Fixin, Nuits-Saint-Georges, expanding to Comblanchien, the final part of the Côte de Nuits. Vines of Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, Chardonnay-Muscaté, Pinot Gris, Pinot Beurot and Gamay are part of the landscape of the Domaine and are conducted only in biodynamics. The wines thus obtained are the natural expression of the territory from which they are born, vinified with the minimum possible chemical intervention.
