Domaine Colette Gros

Domaine Colette Gros is a small reality in Chablis. The company is owned by the Gautheron family, winemakers for five generations, and is currently run by Alain Gautheron together with his wife Cyril. Alain cultivates his Chardonnay vines on the soils of the Premier Cru Fourneaux, one of the most interesting of the 17 Premier Crus of Chablis, on chalky soils that give the minerality and acidity typical of Chablis. Two wines produced: a Chablis Village aged in steel and the Premier Cru Fourneaux aged in large barrels to give it greater complexity.
