Vines Nebbiolo ( %)

Color: Garnet red.
Smell: The nose is fresh and elegant with notes of small ripe red and black fruits, floral hints of slightly dried violet with delicately spicy tones.
Taste: The palate is full-bodied, with tannins very present but amalgamets, the sip is fresh, intense and structured with pleasant and long persistence.
Food pairing: Perfect for dishes based on red meats, braised meats, game, cured meats and cheeses, mushroom and truffle dishes.

Production area: Baluchin vineyard, Municipality of Neive (Barbaresco).
Vinification: Alcoholic and malolactic fermentation in medium toasted barriques, with various decanting to clean and make the wine clear.
Aging: In oak barriques for 20-22 months, with subsequent stop in steel tanks for about three months. Once the passage is complete, continue with the bottling without filtration.

Ezio Cocito

Ezio Cocito coming from a family of farmers, in 2000 bought the Baluchin vineyard in Neive with the desire to produce Barbaresco on the family estate, and for this he turned to Giorgio Rivetti de La Spinetta. Dated friends who shared a passion for wine and that for horses, entered into an agreement with which Ezio could have used the La Spinetta cellar for the production of his Barbaresco Baluchin, and in exchange he would have to take care of Giorgio's horses. A genuine pact and a perfect collaboration between friends.
