Color: Intense ruby red.
Smell: Classic and intense bouquet, decidedly fruity. With aging in barriques, it expresses notes of jam, spices, coffee and cinnamon.
Taste: Enveloping freshness and harmony. Great depth. Long and pleasant persistence.
Food pairing: Perfect for meat dishes, first courses with rich and traditional Tuscan sauces, game, cold cuts and cheeses.

Production area: Fontanella vineyard.
Altitude: 220 m asl.
Exposure: North-south.
Harvest: Manual and selective.
Vinification: Further selection before and after destemming on the sorting table. Fermentation in stainless steel tanks.
Aging: In French oak barrels of first and second passage for about 18 months and aging in bottle for about 6 months.
