Color: bright golden yellow, fine perlage.
Smell: The nose is complex and rich in sensations of ripe yellow pulp fruit, honey, hazelnuts, sweet spices and notes of pastry.
Taste: On the palate it is intense, round and creamy. Full-bodied but slender, excellent freshness, fruit aromas and spicy notes. Persistent and mineral.
Food pairing: Perfect for dishes rich in taste based on fish and shellfish, sushi, white meats and medium-aged cheeses.

Millésime 2009 is obtained from the selection of the best grapes from the village of Aÿ, in the Vallée de la Marne.
After alcoholic fermentation, a 6 year break on the lees follows.
Dosage: About 10 g / l.

H. Goutorbe

Champagne Henri Goutorbe is a family-run champagne house, located in the renowned Grand Cru village of A nel, in the heart of the Champagne region, 3 km from Epernay. The creation of the champagne range followed the development of the nursery, a family tradition born at the beginning of the twentieth century and which presented the first phase of the production of champagne wines. Emile Goutorbe was already a nurseryman when his son Henri was born and in 1922. Since the 70s, René Goutorbe has continued to follow the vineyards and was responsible for the production of the cuvées. His sons Elisabeth, Bertrand and Etienne share his passion and have contributed to building the reputation of our Champagnes in the region and worldwide. The quality of the grapes, harvested manually, is the result of a careful selection of the best vines, based on their genetic characteristics and the specificity of each plot. After selecting the peculiar characteristics of each plot, these are slowly pressed and vinified in stainless steel vats. Then the second fermentation takes place in the bottle. Our champagnes have matured on the lees in the bottle for at least three years in our historic cellars.
