Color: Bright straw yellow with greenish reflections.
Smell: The nose is intense and rich with notes of fruit and hints of herbs; fresh yellow apple, melon, chamomile and graphite notes.
Taste: On the palate it is harmonious with a salty finish, creamy consistency and crisp acidity; pleasant aftertaste.
Food pairing: Perfect for appetizers and fish and shellfish dishes, sushi and raw fish.

Production area: The vineyards lie at 550-600 m a.s.l. to St. Nikolaus and face east. The soil is mainly calcareous with glaciers of glacial origin, pieces of Dolomite rock. Loose and well-ventilated soils ranging from neutral to basic.
Vinification: Extremely slow pressing of whole grapes, spontaneous fermentation of unfiltered must in 500 l oak barrels and in large wooden barrels.
Aging: Maturation in wood for 10 months, on fine lees with continuous bâtonnage.
