Alto Adige DOC Lagrein 2019 - Kaltern

Color: Very intense ruby red.
Smell: The nose is fruity with hints of plum and blackberry, chocolate and coffee aromas
Taste: Full bodied on the palate with powerful and well integrated tannins, long and persistent finish
Food pairing: Perfect for roasted meat, game, first courses with meat sauces and aged cheeses.

Age of vines: 6-21 years.
Yield/hectare: 70 hl.
Breeding system: Guyot and pergola.
Production area: Hilly vineyards with exposure from south to east and altitude between 230 and 350 m above sea level. Calcareous, clayey of medium strength.
Vinification: Fermentation on the skins with 10 days maceration at a temperature of 28 ° C; malolactic fermentation.
Aging: Aging for 4 months in steel tanks, 75hl wooden barrels and 15% in barriques.
