Alto Adige DOC Pinot Nero 2019 - Kaltern

Color: Intense ruby red.
Smell: The nose is fruity with notes of cherry and raspberry, spicy hints of cinnamon.
Taste: On the palate it is velvety and sinuous, with gentle tannins, long and persistent finish.
Food pairing: Perfect for meat roasts, game, first courses with meat sauces and aged cheeses.

Age of vines: 6-21 years.
Yield/hectare: 70 hl.
Breeding system: Guyot and pergola.
Production area: Hilly vineyards with eastern exposure between 450 and 550 m above sea level. Calcareous, clayey soil of medium texture.
Vinification: Fermentation on the skins with maceration for eight days at a controlled temperature of 23 ° C; malolactic fermentation.
Aging: 4 months maturation in large wooden barrels and concrete barrels.
