Color: Intense ruby red.
Smell: The nose is rich and intense with notes of spices, ripe fruit, flavors of damp earth, tobacco.
Taste: On the palate it is full-bodied, rich in red fruit aromas, spicy with elegant and persistent tannins.
Food pairing: Perfect for meat dishes, roasts, first courses with meat sauces, cold cuts and medium-aged cheeses.
Vineyard: From vineyards with an average age of 40 years.
Vinification: Fermentation in small vats with manual punching down and controlled temperature at 28 °C. Very soft pressing with traditional manual press.
Aging: Matured in Allier oak barriques for 12 months. Aged in the bottle for at least 8 months.
