La Cuvee

The vintage Pol Roger Brut Vintage 2009 is a champagne from the traditional blend of the Pol Roger house: 60% Pinot Noir, 40% Chardonnay from 20 Grands and Premiers Crus Mountain Reims and Côte des Blancs. Produced in limited quantities, the vintage Pol Roger Brut Vintage 2009 aged 9 years in our cellars before being marketed.

Vinification and aging

Once harvested, the grapes are pressed quickly and gently. A first settling is performed in the center of the pressing and a second in our vat room, cold (6 ° C) for 24 hours. Alcoholic fermentation takes place at low temperature (18 ° C) in temperature-controlled stainless steel vats in which the vines and vintages are vinified separately before final assembly. Malolactic fermentation is carried out on all the house wines. After the tasting, mixing and bottling, the foam and the aging take place in the cool of our cellars, 33 meters deep. Each bottle is mixed by hand, in the traditional way, before gushing and dosing. The wines are then rested at least three months before being shipped.
