Color: Golden yellow.
Smell: The nose is elegant with hints of yellow fruit, herbaceous and emineral notes.

The name of the vineyard derives from a fountain surrounded by walnut trees and anticipates the presence of aquifers that benefit the hill and the roots of the vineyards by bringing important nutrients. Last but not least, the particular mesoclimate favors a healthier and slightly anticipated development of the grapes.

Vinification: Fermentation and aging in stainless steel at controlled temperature. Cold maceration and stop on the lees.

Schönborn Castle has been a veritable bulwark of the entire Rheingau Valley since 1349. In the cellar, always without ever departing from the highest quality standards, all operations are carried out always trying to respect the individual "crus" as much as possible, so as to enhance every small peculiarity. Wines with an unmistakable character come to life in this way, elegant witnesses of a unique territory and grape variety.
