Manual harvest at the end of September; fermentation of steel barrels for about 9 days, is then fermented on the Amarone marc for about 12/13 days, with continuous daily pumping over. Then it ages for 15 months in 65 hl Slavonian oak barrels and for 6 months in bottle.


Tommasi is a family winery founded in 1902. The estate is managed by the 4th generation of the family, nine members work together in complete harmony, each with its own defined area of responsibility. It is located in Pedemonte, in the heart of Valpolicella Classico, a small piece of land north-west of Verona, between the plain and the Lessini mountains and near Lake Garda.
