This elegant Chardonnay was born in the "Bocca di Lupo Estate" in the heart of Murgia and the origin of its name is inspired
by this
territory. "Pietrabianca" recalls, in fact, the rocks in which the farmers encounter during the preparation of the land
and which,
once ground and integral parts of the soil, they help to enhance the aromas of the wines that are born there.
Rich, complex et
at the same time fresh and pleasant, with notes of grass and toasted hazelnuts, it is recommended in
combination with fish or first courses,
meat, high gastronomy fish, white meats and semi-mature cheeses.

The 2018 vintage, compared to the previous one, tended to be fresher and characterized by rainfall capable of ensuring the
correct water supply of the vine. The first months of the year have been
generally mild with some thermal drops capable of
delaying the vegetative awakening. From the end of April the increase
of temperatures favored the recovery of the initial
delay. The harvest began with Chardonnay in the first
mid-August to continue with the Fiano during the first two weeks of
September. The harvest has been
carried out at night or in the early hours of the morning in order to preserve the aromas
of the grapes from the processes

Vinification and aging
Upon arrival in the cellar, the grapes were destemmed and softly pressed. The must has been transferred to storage tanks
stainless steel at a temperature of 10 ° C to obtain a natural clarification. Subsequently a part of the Chardonnay was
transferred to new French oak barrels, where alcoholic fermentation took place
at controlled temperature. Refinement on its
lees and malolactic fermentation followed in barrique. Il Fiano,
as well as a part of the Chardonnay, it was vinified in steel at
a temperature of 16-17 ° C in order to enhance it
the characteristic freshness. In January the Chardonnay in barrique was
transferred to steel, assembled to
Fiano and on the other side of Chardonnay, and bottled. A further 6 months refinement in

The Bocca di Lupo estate is located at a height of 250 meters above sea level in the heart of the wild Murgia of Bari, in the
near Minervino Murge - Bari. The limestone and poor soils are excellent for obtaining quality red wines excellent whites.
The company has an area of ​​130 hectares of totally organic vineyards. The main varieties grown are:
