Vines Negroamaro ( %)

Color: Bright coral pink.
Smell: The nose offers a pleasant intensity characterized by notes of small red berries from the delicate pulp, accompanied on the bottom by a memory of a dog rose.
Taste: The palate is enveloping and fresh, balanced and with a closure perfectly consistent with the aromatic hints perceived by the nose.
Food pairing: Excellent as an aperitif, focaccia stuffed with vegetables, pizza, fresh first courses, cold cuts and medium-aged cheeses.

Production area: Torricella (TA).

Harvest: Manual.
Vinification: Short skin maceration of 12-15h at a temperature of 8-10 °C of part of the grapes with controlled temperature fermentation.
Aging: In steel for about 4 months and 1 month in bottle.

Trullo di Pezza

Currently the Trullo di Pezza vineyard consists of 32 ha distributed in two large plots of land near the Torricella winery, one of which in Maruggio, Lizzano and Manduria. The main production area is destined to the main vine of Messapia - the primitive one. But Negroamaro, Fiano, Aglianico also find significant space, with the small exception of a few hectares destined for the international Syrah and Cabernet Sauvignon. Grown with the Guyot espalier system, the vines are rooted in the praised "red lands" of Manduria with a good prevalence of limestone and ferrous mineral substances. There are no altitudes in the area. Indeed, the vineyards are located on a verdant plateau, dotted with olive trees not far from the sea which is the thermal regulator of this production area with mild winters and decidedly hot summer seasons. The exposure of the vineyard from north to south, on the other hand, allows a balanced daily solar radiation. The care of the vineyard follows the organic method with the use of natural-based products, and only in case of extreme drought, do we use emergency irrigation.
