Color: Ruby red with garnet hues.
Smell: The nose expresses intense notes of ripe cherries with complex notes of minerals, tea leaves and rose petals on a delicately spicy background.
Taste: The palate is of great elegance, with severe and ripe tannins, fresh acidity and round structure. Great elegance and harmony, very long persistence.
Food pairing: Perfect for stewed meat, game, roasts, strong and aged cheeses.

Production areas: Vineyards located in Neive and Treiso (Barbaresco).
Soil: Calcareous-clayey soils.
Exposure: South.
Vinification: During alcoholic fermentation the must remains in open steel vats for about 3 weeks. Daily "déléstage", mushrooming and pumping over in the air are performed. Malolactic fermentation in barriques.
Aging: About 2 and a half years in oak barrels and barriques.
