Barbera d'Alba DOC Tre Vigne 2017 - Vietti

Color: Ruby red color with aroma of ripe cherries and vanilla.
Smell: Violet notes and slightly rounder structure than Barbera d'Asti Tre Vigne.
Taste: Brilliant acidity and sweet tannins on the palate with a balanced presence of wood, good complexity and a persistent cherry finish.
Food pairing: appetizers, rich salads, grilled seasonal vegetables, soups, pasta, veal and pork, chicken with light sauces.

Production areas: Vineyards located in Castiglione Falletto, Monforte d'Alba, La Morra, and other Langhe villages.
Soil: Calcareous-clayey soils.
Age of plants: From 25 to 40 years.
Density per hectare: 4500 plants.
Breeding system: Guyot.
Vinification: Alcoholic fermentation lasts about 2 weeks and is carried out in steel. Déléstages are frequent and daily pumping over. Malolactic fermentation in steel.
Aging: Mixed between barrels, barriques and steel for about a year.
