Vines Ribolla Gialla ( %)

Color: Straw yellow with greenish reflections.
Smell: To nose expresses fruity notes of Williams pear.
Taste: On the palate it is fresh and savory, velvety and medium-bodied.
Food pairing: Ideal for appetizers and appetizers based on fish and shellfish, risotto with herbs or cold cuts.

Vineyard: Tenuta RoncAlto located in Ruttars in the municipality of Dolegna del Collio.
Soil: Marl and clay.
Breeding system: Guyot.
Harvest: Harvest carried out entirely by hand in boxes, with cold maceration in a horizontal press lasting eight hours and subsequent cleaning of the must by decanting.
Vinification and aging: Fermentation takes place 100% in steel at a controlled temperature of 14-10 degrees for four months.
The wine is left with a little sugar residue in the cold and on the lees. At the end of this period, it is bottled in March to have fresh and velvety scents.

Villa Chiòpris

Owned by Livon Winery, Villa Chiopris, the old aristocratic countryside mansion is nestled away where the plain meets the spectacular amphitheatre created by the Colli Orientali del Friuli, and where the cool breeze that blows from the north becomes mild thanks to the influence of the Adriatic Sea close by. Up until the end of the last century the estate belonged the Hausbrandt family, an important dynasty of coffee dealers from Trieste. Thanks to its suitable position and dimensions, the villa was used as a military hospital during the First World War. Today Villa Chiopris has returned to it original splendour thanks to the Livon family, and is now a favourite retreat for those in seek of the quintessential atmosphere of Friuli. Surrounded by lush vineyards, which produce a wine bearing the same name, the villa allows its guests to enjoy the rural pace, the peaceful settings and long forgotten attentions. Villa Chiopris is the hub where different landscapes, flavours and above all people truly meet.
